Car Trouble Won't Slow Me Down
My car is acting a fool lately, and I don’t like it. I mean, I like my car. I love my car; it’s the best one I’ve ever had. But it’s been acting up over the past few days, and well, I don’t like that.
On the way home from Georgia, the heat messed up. When you turn the knob to the hottest temperature (where it’s all red and stuff), this horrible sound comes out. It sounds like someone is banging...

Spreading Some Holiday Cheer
Is anyone out there familiar with this quote from Tim “The Toolman” Taylor from Home Improvement? ”Christmas isn’t about spending time with people you like; it’s about spending time with your family.” This is his response to Randy asking if he can go on a ski trip with his girlfriend. I used to love that show when I was a kid, and it’s a line that we’ve tossed around in my family every...

So, fair readers, it’s my birthday, and I’m 27. The big 2-7. That feels grown up to me. Not sure why, but it does. I really feel like an adult today, you know? I’m married. It’s how I am. I let people show their love in whatever ways they’d like, including giving me money and gifts. I’m not too proud to...

Christmas Bell Are Ringing...
…down at Trustus theater in the Vista! Jess and I had the wonderful opportunity to go and see RENT at the Trustus theater last night. The performance was a special preview and a fundraiser for SC Pride. So, we got to combine activism and musical theater in one evening. How perfect is that! In all seriousness, the cast and crew did an awesome job. I am slightly obsessed with the musical, so...

Seriously. They're Falling from the Sky.
I think that anyone in my position would have baby fever. I am surrounded by pregnant people and people with infants. Over Thanksgiving I found out that both of my step-sisters are pregnant. Add those babies to Jacob, and Jess and I will be aunts 3 times in 2010. Also, my cousin John and his wife Kathryn had their baby boy yesterday. They named him Corbin. I’ve seen a few pictures, and...
